Winifred Stephens

Winifred A. Stephens, 87 of Mancelona, died Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at home. She was born November 9, 1936 in Detroit, the daughter of Napoleon and Bernice (Weaver) Tremblay. 

 Winnie was a kind, caring, and compassionate lady. She loved her children and family dearly and loved to give hugs and smooches to all. She enjoyed bird watching and tending her flowers. She often volunteered at the local food pantry and would selflessly give you anything she could at all times. 

 She is survived by her children Joseph Orman of Wyoming, Mark (Ria) of Lyndon, Robert (Viney) Orman of Jacksonville, FL, John (Sharlene) Orman of Kalkaska, Luke Orman of Mancelona, Angelica (Jamal) Williams of NC, sister Deborah (Don) of Mancelona, 16 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Donald, brother Willy, and sisters Joyce, Barbara, Carol, and Sharon.

 No services are planned at this time.

 Arrangements are in the care of the Mancelona Chapel or Mortensen Funeral Homes.
