William “Rich” Rousseau, 72, of Mancelona, passed away on April 19, 2019 at his home.
Rich was born on May 6, 1946 in Flint, MI, the son of Robert and Wilma (Andrew) Rousseau.
Rich was a long time police officer for the city of Saginaw. He was a gun enthusiast and loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was artistic and enjoyed wood carving.
He wrote and published a fly fishing book which he dedicated to his late father-in-law Raymond “Boots” Smith.
He is survived by his wife Donna Rousseau (LaVanway) of Mancelona, a brother Dan (Nan) Rousseau of Oscoda, a sister Vera (Mike) Roszak of Oscoda, a step-daughter Darcy (Jamie) Novak of N.C., 4 step-grandchildren, Ethan, Trenton, Karissa, Kila Jacobson (Michael Bullins), 1 step-great-granddaughter, Aleigha Bullins, mother-in-law, Fern Smith of Mancelona, 2 sisters-in-law, Debbie Schram, Vicki Kleeman, a brother-in-law Rick Aldrich as well as other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ron Rousseau and sister-in-law Judy Rousseau.
