William H. Robb, 85, of Bellaire, passed away on May 30, 2018 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.
William was born on April 29, 1933, in Mancelona, the son of Arlington and Faith (Gurd) Robb.
When William was 4, he lost 3 fingers due to an accident so even though he would have liked to join the military, they would not take him. However, he went on to be a long time tool and die maker.
He loved to travel the United States as well as camping, trout fishing, and mushrooming down by the Cedar River. He also enjoyed collecting and polishing Petoskey stones and was once a Boy Scout leader in Traverse City.
He is survived by a son James Robb of Mancelona, a sister Mavis Johnson of Bellaire, as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Robert and Jack, and four sisters, Dorothy, Eleanor, Ruth and Helen.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 2, at 3:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona.
