William MacQuarrie, Jr

William L. MacQuarrie Jr., 79, of Traverse City passed away May 22, 2013 at Grand Traverse Pavilions. He was born November 1, 1933 in Pittsburgh, the son of William Sr and Marie MacQuarrie. Bill worked for Dura for 25 years and resided in Mancelona for 30 years. In 1954 he married Mary (Bader) MacQuarrie who survives. Also surviving are five children, Jim (Michele) MacQuarrie of Mancelona, MaryKay MacQuarrie of Plainwell, David (Jenny) MacQuarrie of Lansing, Sharon Adray of Traverse City, Joe MacQuarrie and his partner Kirk Day of Traverse City; 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held at a later date. The Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes is handling the arrangements.
