William Iser

William 'Bill' D. Iser, 61, of Flint passed away June 20, 2014 at his home. Bill was born January 27, 1953, the son of Richard Junior and Mary Ann (Jones) Iser in Flint. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Iser of Mancelona, MI; siblings, Richard (MarJean) Iser of Mancelona and Bonnie (Scott) Crandall and very special nephew, Adam Crandall all of Bellaire, MI; niece, Crystal (Bill) Smith and his very special great-niece Presley Smith of Mancelona. Aunt Jonnie Iser; cousins, Paula (Gordon) Thompson, Deborah Iser, Amanda (Dan) Graff and Kristen Thompson. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Junior Iser and sister, Jeanie Iser, and Uncle Paul Iser. Bill worked at Macy's as a Retail Manager for several years. He took much pride and joy in his career and it was a big part of his life. He enjoyed helping with fundraisers, cooking, photography, the outdoors, shopping and spending time with family. Bill loved giving and was always very generous. He had a special place in his heart for his nephew Adam and great-niece Presley. A gathering celebrating Bill's life will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at One p.m. at Macy's in Genesee Valley Mall, Flint MI. There will also be a Celebration Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Two p.m. at the Pelican Room Banquet Hall, 2102 N.E. Torch Lake Drive, Central Lake, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Adam and Presley, C/O Alden State Bank, P.O. Box 1169, Bellaire, MI 49615.
