William "Bill" Glynn, 31, of Bellaire, died Monday, December 1, 2008 at home. He was born July 1, 1977 in Lampasas, TX, the son of Timothy and Dawn (Powell) Glynn. Bill grew up in Central Lake and graduated from Central Lake High School in 1996. He attended Northwestern College in Traverse City and studied culinary arts. Bill was employed at Barnes Precision Valve in Central Lake. Bill was proud of his Irish heritage and he enjoyed spending time at deer camp with Grandpa Glynn. He especially enjoyed working on RC cars and trips to Mackinaw Island with his wife. Bill also enjoyed cooking and gardening and spending time with his family. On June 16, 2001 in Bellaire, he married Shalene Loper who survives. Also surviving are his children Gabrielle and Bahley both at home; mother Dawn (John) Fant of Central Lake, father Timothy (Debbie) Glynn of Newaygo, maternal grandmother Janet Johnson of Auburndale, FL, grandfather Don (Joyce) Powell of Lakeland, FL; paternal grandparents William (Marjorie) Glynn of Grand Rapids, siblings Eric (Alanna) Fant of Cedar, Erin (Todd) Dittenber of Au Gres, Michael Fant (Kelly Wilson) of Mancelona, Lisa Glynn of Central Lake, Bethann (Jake) Talazaar of Newaygo, father and mother-in-law Wayne (Mary) Loper of Central Lake, Terry Addis of East Jordan, sister in-law Danielle (Barney) Langworthy of Kalkaska, and six nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 5, 2008 at Eleven a.m. at the Bible Baptist Church in Central Lake with Pastor Russell Tharp officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 4, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Memorials may be directed to the Glynn Children College Fund c/o Bay Winds Credit Union, 108 Depot St., Bellaire, MI, 49615.
