William "Bill" J. Clark, 93 of Boyne City passed away at home on November 23, 2018.
Bill was born on February 22, 1925 in East Jordan, MI to the late Frank and Edrie (Meyers) Clark. He served in the United States Army during World War II as a medic. Bill was honorably discharged in 1943 with two bronze stars.
He was a great story teller who enjoyed drinking coffee, sharing fellowship with friends, sitting on the front porch in the sunshine as he was able to enjoy the nature that he loved along with the many wild animals that he watched.
Bill was very involved in the icelebratechurch. He enjoyed being a part of every group and was known for his helping hand whenever possible. Bill really enjoyed helping with Vacation Bible School and going into costume for the children.
Bill is survived by his church family and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Irene Clark, second wife, Peggy Waffle-Clark, daughter and his parents.
Graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
