Willard Patton

Willard E. Patton, 74, of Boyne Falls, passed away on May 10, 2017 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. Willard was born on August 6, 1942, in Bellaire, the son of Herman and Mary (Nickerson) Patton. Willard loved spending time with his family, traveling, truck driving and playing practical jokes on people. On January 22, 1966, in Central Lake, he married Mary McCall who survives. Also surviving are four children, Dana Patton of Boyne Falls, Willard II (Mary) Patton of East Jordan, Jason (Laura) Patton of Pellston, Jenny (Bud Radle) Anthony of Elmira, 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 5 siblings, Jim (Diane) Patton of Kingman, AZ, Karen Frohriep of Boyne City, Sharon (Mike) Murphy of Fayettville, TN, Randy Patton of DeSoto, IL, Chris Patton of Pikeville, TN, and a sister-in-law Norma Patton of East Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, George and Tom Patton and a brother-in-law Butch Frohriep. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Visitation will be on Friday from 6-8 p.m. also at the funeral home.
