Wesley Pardee

Wesley Aaron Forbes Pardee, 31 of Grand Rapids and formerly of Central Lake, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at home.

He was born July 7, 1986 in Traverse City, the son of Kimberly (Pardee) Konefke and Keith Snarey.  Wesley graduated from Central Lake high school in 2004 with honors.

Wesley was an outgoing, friendly, funny guy.  He loved spending time with his family and joking around with them too.  He enjoyed fishing, especially in Alaska with his dad and grandfather Dennis.  He was very proud of his onetime 104 lb halibut catch.

Surviving Wesley is his mother Kimberly of Kewadin, MI, his father Keith of Kenai, AK, his siblings Makayla, Brian Jr., Curtis, and Abigail all of Kewadin, maternal grandmother Diane Pardee of Eastport, paternal grandfather Dennis (Thong) Snarey of Ellsworth, paternal grandmother Anita (David) Hansen of Beverly Hills, CA, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather Brian Konefke, maternal grandfather Wayne Pardee Sr. and uncle Jason Snarey.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 25th  at 1 pm at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Bruce Standfest officiating.  Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Eastport.  The family will receive friends from 11 am until the time of service.
