Wayne Osborne

WAYNE R. OSBORNE, 92, of Bellaire, died on July 9, 2010 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility. Wayne was born on September 4, 1917 in West Branch, Michigan, the son of Everett and Elsie (Bemis) Osborne. Wayne served in the formation of the 10th Mountain Division of the U.S. Army during World War II. He enjoyed woodworking, farming, and attending the Central Lake Bible Baptist Church. On March 6, 1943, in Colorado Springs, CO., he married Rebecca Mecham who survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Kenneth (Ann) Osborne of Interlochen, MI., Chrystal Reed of El Dorado, AR., Joyce (Ron) Benbow of Marion, IN., 2 sisters, Beverly Spoor of Plainwell, MI., Janet (Floyd) Adams of Bloomfield, MO., 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Wilber, Junior and Donavan Osborne, 3 sisters, Maxine King, Naomi Kosiara, Irma Jane Osborne and his parents Everett and Elsie (Bemis) Osborne. Funeral services will take place on Tues., July 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Central Lake Bible Baptist Church. Pastor Russell Tharp officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bellaire.
