Walter John Owens

Walter John Owens, 73, of Bellaire, passed away peacefully at home on May 25, 2022.

Walter was born on September 24, 1948. He was a proud Veteran of the Vietnam War serving two tours of duty. Walter retired from DTE and then went on to own the Alden Bar & Grill. A business he and his wife ran for 16 wonderful years.

Walter is survived by, the love of his life Dee, son Steven & wife Helen, daughter Kaylynn & husband Javed and grandchildren, Mazen, Haris & Kamran.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 11,2022 at 11am at Church in the Hills,

6401 Shanty Creek Rd. Bellaire. A luncheon will follow the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Walter's name to the following organizations that were near and dear to his heart.
