Vincent D. Messano, 83 of Bellaire, went home with the angels Thursday, September 10, 2020. He was born November 28, 1936 in Jersey City, New Jersey the son of Alfonso and Mary (Hogan) Messano.
On May 31, 1959 he married Arline J. Sislak. Vince worked for Ford Motor Company in Newark, NJ until being transferred to the Michigan Export Division. He retired after 39 years of dedicated service. In 2002 upon retirement, Vince and Arline moved to Bellaire. He enjoyed playing golf with his church buddies and watching all kinds of sports on T.V. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. Vince was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church and was an alter server there.
Surviving Vince is his devoted wife Arline of 61 years, his dear son Gary, a man of great faith, who he has always been proud of as an occupational therapist and is married to Barbara Messano of San Antonio, TX, sister Patricia Bedigian of Fairfield, NJ, niece Jennifer Edmonds and nephews Joel Sislak and Christopher Sislak.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday, October 24th at 12 Noon at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Bellaire with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be given to the Moms and Tots Program, c/o Good Samaritan, PO BOX 206, Ellsworth, MI 49729.
