Thomas Belanger

Thomas "Tom Tom" Belanger, 11, of Elmira, passed away on July 23, 2015 at his home. Tom Tom was born on January 14, 2004 in Grand Rapids the son of Eric Belanger and Jacquelyn (Bullen) Brock. Tom Tom attended Alba and Mancelona Public Schools, currently he was going into the 6th grade at the Mancelona Public Schools. He enjoyed fishing, climbing trees, mud bogs , trucks and going to the St. Ignace Car Show. He also loved Michigan State University Football as well as all Detroit Sports. He is survived by his parents Jacquelyn (Doug) Brock of Elmira, 3 brothers, Tyler Belanger, Ashten Belanger, Gerry Brock, 2 sisters, Cheyanne Brock, Realyn Chalker, Nana and Papa Turner of Elmira, Grams and Gramps Bullen of Mason, MI, Grandpa and Grandma Belly of Grand Rapids, many aunts, uncles, cousins as well as a special aunt "K" and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father Eric Belanger and great-grandmother Lois Bullen. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, July 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Pastor Mark McCool will officiate. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona. Visitation will take place on Monday from 5-8 p.m. also at the funeral home.
