Thomas Bacon

Thomas E. Bacon, 65 of Central Lake, died peacefully at home Sat. Oct. 30, 2010. He was born Feb. 21, 1945 in Traverse City, the son of Norman and Rose Ann (Passquale) Bacon. Tom enjoyed ice fishing, building rustic furniture, and making maple syrup. He also loved to read and play cards. On May 22, 1965, in Detroit, he married Juanita Marie Darmon who survives. Also surviving are his brothers Robert Bacon of Bellaire, James (Noreen) Bacon of Petoskey and sister Marian Kivisto of Negaunee and many nieces, nephews & cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter Ann Marie Schmidt in 2009, his parents, his sister Ida Petreust, and brothers Joe and Dominick Strazzante. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be directed to your local humane society.
