Theresa DeWitt

Theresa G. DeWitt, 82, of Elmira, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at her home. She was born May 12, 1930 in Traverse City the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Schwarz. Theresa graduated from Northport High School. She and her husband moved to Lakes Of The North in 1993 and have resided in Northern Michigan ever since. She is survived by her husband of 59 years William C. DeWitt; children Michael W. (Julie) DeWitt of Gaylord, Joseph A. (Sheila) DeWitt of New Hampshire and William C. (Kathy) DeWitt of Taylor; granddaughters Leah Therese and Rebecca Lynn. She will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place per her wishes.
