Terra Kirts

Terra J. Kirts, 32, of Bellaire, died unexpectedly Sun. Jan. 30, 2011. She was born Sept. 19, 1978 in Traverse City the daughter of Gary and Pamela (Vaillancourt) Kirts. She was a lifelong resident of Bellaire, graduating in 1996. Terra enjoyed writing poetry, drawing, painting, and making jewelry. Her greatest joy in life was her son Timothy "Paine" Watson who survives. She is also survived by her mother Pamela, her brother Troy (Stephanie) Symons of West Branch, sisters Tammy (Chad) Lambert, Erica Dahl and Alicia Kirts all of Bellaire, maternal grandmother Della Vaillancourt of Alden, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Terra was preceded in death by her father Gary, in 2003, her grandfather Joseph Vaillancourt, uncle Marvin Kirts and aunt Donna Vaillancourt. Funeral services will be held Fri. Feb. 4, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Bellaire Community United Methodist Church with Pastor Geri Litchfield officiating. The family will receive friends Thurs. Feb. 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Bellaire this spring.
