Tami Melissa Laizure, 58, of Kewadin, passed away suddenly at her home on May 10, 2021. She was born on July 10, 1962, in Grayling, MI, the daughter of Rollin and Ethel Yorty.
She enjoyed gardening, watching murder mysteries on TV, and, most importantly, taking care of people. She was a Registered Nurse for 35 years, spending 20 years working at Grayling Mercy Hospital.
She is survived by her four children: Katrina (Andrew) Panhoff of Tulsa, OK, Samuel Laizure of Kewadin, Benjamin Laizure of Dallas, TX, Mathew Laizure of Kewadin, as well as three grandchildren, Robert Jacob, Vanessa, and Nathan Panhoff, three sisters, Heatherlee Yorty of Suttons Bay, MI, Bonnie (Keith) Brandt of Higgins Lake, MI, and Melody (David) Killion of Higgins Lake, MI, as well as longtime partner, Rob Bargy of Kewadin and his children Josie and Robbie, who were like her own. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Laizure, her parents, and her in-laws, Harold and Clara Laizure.
