Susan Hutchings

Susan "Susie" Hutchings, 80, of Bellaire, passed away on February 2, 2015 at Munson Medical Center. Susie was born on March 25, 1934 in Middletown, OH, the daughter of Chester and Helen (Laut) Hagen. Susie was a member of the Church in the Hills in Bellaire and enjoyed riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, boating and golfing with her best friend and son Jay. She was the Director of the Antrim County Community Choir and was musical director for various churches throughout her life. She had a true love for music as well as the people she sang with and directed. She sang with the professional singing group the "Garder Snappers" in Detroit, and was involved in many plays. She was a great entertainer and had a theatrical gift. She is survived by a son Jay Hutchings of South Lyon and Bellaire. She was preceded in death by her husband Jean Hutchings as well as her parents. Memorial services will take place on Thursday, February 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church in the Hills, Bellaire. Pastor David Ramage will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Antrim County Animal Shelter, 4660 S. M-88 Hwy., Bellaire, MI, 49615.
