Steven Lamoreaux

STEVEN L. LAMOREAUX, 47, of Bellaire, formerly of Central Lake, passed away on June 2, 2010 at his home. Steve was born on November 28, 1962 in Petoskey, the son of Marland and Carol (Fettig) Lamoreaux. Steve was a lifelong resident of Antrim County and graduated from Central Lake High School in 1982 where he played football and basketball. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed going to many high school sporting events in the area. He was a hunter and a fisherman, attended the Bellaire Wesleyan Church most recently and grew up attending the Eastport Baptist Church. He was employed for Glens Market in Bellaire for many years. He is survived by his parents, Marland and Carol Lamoreaux of Eastport, a brother Chris Lamoreaux of Mortonsburg, New York, a sister Kathy (Ron) Eberline of Commerce Twp., MI., two nephews, David and Curtis Eberline, two nieces Heather and Erin Eberline all of Commerce Twp., a sister-in-law Patty Hicks of Waterford, MI. as well as many aunts and uncles. Funeral services will take place on Sun., June 6, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bellaire Wesleyan Church. Pastor Steve Eccles will officiate. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Lake High School football program or the Central Lake High School girls basketball program, c/o CLPS, PO BOX 128, Central Lake, MI 49622.
