Steven Wayne Gorshe

Steven Wayne Gorshe, 54, of Central Lake, Michigan, passed away on January 15, 2024 surrounded by his family after a lifelong battle with cerebral palsy.

Steven was born on June 27,1969 to Donald and Patricia Gorshe in Detroit Michigan.

A service will be held in his honor to celebrate his vibrant spirit on Saturday the 10th of February at Bellaire Community United Methodist Church, at 401 N. Bridge Street Bellaire, MI 49615 at 1:00 p.m. with lunch served after the service.

Although he endured living with cerebral palsy resulting in his physical and cognitive special needs, he authentically expressed his love for his family, all things “balls”, and stuffed animals. He was the light in a room which will shine forever within our hearts. He will be greatly missed.

Steven was predeceased by his father Donald, and brother Phillip. He is survived by his mother Patricia, sisters Dana (Brian) Orr, Michelle (Paulo) Frattini, Rene (Alexander) Adler, brother Shawn Gorshe. Nieces Candace (Michael) Ferreira, Megan Orr, Alexandra Frattini, Brianna Adler, Nephews Brandon Manciero, Brett Manciero, Bronti Frattini, Ryan Orr and Collin Alder. Great nieces and nephews Gavin, Sophie, and Lucas Ferreira.
