Steven Cressy

Steven James Cressy, 67, of Bellaire, passed away on February 19, 2025, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born on February 1, 1958, in Detroit, the son of Wallace and Agnes (Hanson) Cressy.

Steve loved having family and friends come to his home on the river. He had a passion for boating, navigating Intermediate River and pulling his kids and grandkids behind the boat tubing on Intermediate Lake. He enjoyed countless bonfires while listening to his extensive music library. While not on the water, Steve enjoyed golfing, family euchre tournaments, traveling and walking his grandpup River. 

 Steve worked in medical sales and water purification. After retiring, him and his wife Janet were able to travel around the world and also traveled across the country camping in an Airstream.

 He survived by his loving wife, Janet, three children, Johanna (Scott) Mackenzie of Romeo, Tayler Cressy of Bellville, Erik Cressy of Wixom, one sister, Johanna Cressy of Bellaire, four grandchildren, Liam, Conner, James, Juliet. He is also survived by many loved nieces and nephews. Steve believed his greatest accomplishments in life were his 3 children, he was so very proud of them. 

Preceding him in death are his parents.

He will be forever missed and always in our hearts. 

A memorial service will take place in the spring.
