Stephen Guthrie

Stephen C. Guthrie, age 70 of Charlevoix passed away into the arms of Jesus on November 18, 2017.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Hazelwood, daughter, Jenna, mother, Margaret Guthrie Dearth, two sisters and many nieces, nephews, extended family and the family dog, Aidan.

Steve was a native of Winchester, VA, raised in Albuquerque, NM, a Navy Vietnam Veteran, a nuclear industry superstar and an ordained minister. He was a bright, gifted and creative man who had multiple talents, but his love was music. Steve played just about everything with strings and had a beautiful voice. He was a kind and caring man who will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on December 9, 2017 at Family of Faith Ministries in Charlevoix with Pastor Michael Arp officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 until the time of services also at the church.

Arrangements are being handled by the Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
