Stephen Ferguson

Stephen F. Ferguson, 59, of Mancelona, passed away on May 15, 2016 at his home. Stephen was born on January 22, 1957, in Detroit, the son of George and Irene (Prentice) Ferguson. Stephen served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force where he earned the rank of Airman First Class. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, woodworking as well as various outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. On August 13, 1994, in Alden, he married Julie Anne Kite who survives. Also surviving are 3 children, Keegan Ferguson of Mancelona, Ian Ferguson of Hollywood, CA, Bonnie Ferguson of Taylor, MI, a grandson Jeffrey, brother David Ferguson of Hazel Park, MI, a sister Debbie (Robert) Nowakowski of Oxford, MI as well as a niece Cheyanne and her husband Drew and a nephew David. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service, with military honors, will take place on Saturday, August 6, 2:00 p.m. at the Alden United Methodist Church.
