Sophie Francis

Sophie (Sophia Skop) of Lakes of the North and formerly of Boyne Falls, Michigan went to rejoice with the Lord on Thursday Oct. 1, 2009. Sophie's life mission was one of loving, giving and sharing. She was well known for her outstanding cheesecake and chocolate creations. She was always doing something to help those around her, the Wertz Warriors (Special Olympics), Mancelona Food Pantry, Alba School, Breath of Life Ministries (her little Alba Church...as she called it) and her children, grandchildren and friends. Sophie's great grandchildren truly brought great smiles to her heart. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 10th at 4pm at the Breath of Life Ministries with lunch to follow. Memorials can be made to Breath of Life. Sophie Francis said goodbye to all family and friends. See you in heaven.
