Sharon Mary Roush

Sharon Mary Roush (née Quarters) of Clinton Township passed away September 3, 2022 at the age of 82.

Sharon was born on April 1, 1940 to Henry and Gertrude (née Kiolbassa) Quarters. On October 14, 1978, Sharon married the love of her life, Harold Roush in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Sharon and Harold retired to Central Lake, MI where they enjoyed living on Intermediate Lake, boat rides and camp fires.

Sharon was a long time Lioness and member of the Red-Hats. She loved volunteering at the Baby Pantry and never said no when asked to volunteer her time or bake a treat. She also was a long time employee of Macy’s and rumor has it that the real reason was her love for a great bargain!

One of her greatest passions was family. The love in her heart grew with each grandchild and ever more with her great-grandchildren. She loved to bake and cook and among some of her favorites was pecan pie, city chicken and pierogies. Family gatherings, outings with friends, cruises, trips to Florida and the occasional trip to the Casino were some of her most memorable moments. Sharon was a devout Catholic and loved saying the rosary daily.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Hank Quarters, and beloved husband, Harold.

Sharon is the loving Mother of Danny (Mary Ann) Ryan, Lorrie Ryan, Linda (Gary) Prate and Cindy Ryan; Adored Grandmother of Michelle (Michael,Jr) Markiewicz, Brendan (Aileen) Ryan, Katie (John) Toth, Allison (Jimmy) Gose, Ryan (Kirstan) Prate, Danielle Prate and Nicole Navaroli and Devoted Great-Grandmother to Mikie Markiewicz, Jack Ryan, Adam Ryan, Mae Toth, Gabriel Gose and Eliza Gose.
