Sharon Lynn Fredenburg, 77 of Bellaire, died December 11, 2021 at her daughter’s home. She was born May 20, 1944 in Carson City, Michigan, the daughter of Floyd and Phyllis (Shore) Shurter. In her high school years, she was a majorette in the high school band.
Sharon was a member of the Masonic Temple in Grand Rapids and Order of the Eastern Star. In her younger years she cooked and served many meals to those in need with the Masonic Temple. Sharon enjoyed reading romance novels and putting puzzles together. She also loved wild animals, dogs, and crocheting.
Surviving is her husband of 33 years, Joseph G. Frendenburg. Also surviving are her children Dawn (Michael) Murphy of Mancelona, Connie (William) Swartz of McClure, PA, Laurel (Tim) Wilks of Mancelona, step-daughter Carla (Frank) Michaels of Allegan, MI, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and brother Ronald (Nancy) Shurter of Pocono, PA. She was preceded in death by her daughter Noline Deveneau and her parents.
Viewing will be held Friday, December 17th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
