Scott Medley

Larry 'Scott' Medley, 50, of Mancelona passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. Scott was born March 5, 1963 in Bellaire, the son of Larry and Alice Medley. He loved fishing and his grandchildren. He was very social and outspoken. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. On September 7, 1997 in Lake City, he married Betty Alexander. Also surviving are two children, James (Burnadette) Lockard and April Alexander both of Mancelona; two sisters, Karen Miller of Alden and Diane Moraldo of Mancelona; parents; six grandchildren, five nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Medley in 1980. Funeral services celebrating Scotts Life will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 12 Noon at the Kalkaska Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Wes Peppers officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow the services. Visitation will be Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of services. Scott will be interred on Thursday at Fairview Cemetery in Mancelona.
