Sarah VanPelt

Sarah Anne VanPelt, 21, of Central Lake, died Tues. May 31, 2011 at home. She was born Dec. 29, 1989, in Traverse City, the daughter of Charles and Pamela (Cronover) VanPelt. Sarah was a lifelong resident of Central Lake. She enjoyed making jewelry, listening to music and going to concerts. She also enjoyed playing basketball and softball. Sarah was an animal lover. Sarah is survived by her mother and stepfather Pam and Bob Miller of Central Lake and her father and stepmother Charles and Diane VanPelt of Charlevoix, brothers Robert Moffat of LaGrange, KY, Rex VanPelt of Charlevoix, grandmother Dolores VanPelt of Kingsley, grandfather Bob Cronover of AZ, Aunt Debbie Santillan of LaGrange, Ky, Aunt Vicki (Jack) Garey of Kingsley, cousin Nicholas Santillan of Lexington, KY, and fiancAC. Mike Downs of Central Lake. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Beulah Cronover. Funeral services will be held Fri. June 3, at 3 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Central Lake with Pastor Don Sinclair officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
