Sandra Kilmartin

Sandra Lee Kilmartin, 79, of Charlevoix, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Boulder Park Terrace with her family at her side.  She was born on June 28, 1943 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of Harold and Gertrude (Noppert) Inman.

Sandra was raised in Coral, MI, spent some of her younger years in Grand Rapids, and eventually made her way North to Beaver Island, and has resided in Charlevoix for the past 20 years.  She enjoyed making all sorts of crafts, shopping for craft supplies, and she loved her pink flowers.  She also looked forward to the Christmas season each year, and enjoyed crafting and decorating for the holidays.

On January 7, 1976, she married James “Joe” Kilmartin who survives.  Also surviving are her four children, Tarry (Joe) McDonough of Beaver Island, Kelly Collins of Beaver Island, Darlene Risner of Allendale, and Luke (Sandra) Oliver of Kent City; her brother, Dale Inman; her sister, Barbara Spence (Carl); fourteen grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; thirteen siblings; and her great-granddaughter, Harper Marie Simko.

Sandra will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery on Beaver Island on Friday, November 11.
