Sandra Baker

Sandra Jean (Van Dorn) Baker, 76 of Bellaire went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 08, 2019.  Sandra (Sandy to her friends and Sis to her family) was born on July 23, 1942 to Ralph Arthur Van Dorn and Beulah Catherine Ford (Floyd) Lajiness.

Sandy loved to spend time with her family especially with her great grandchildren.  She was an avid sewer and made numerous pillow cases and quilts for family and friends.  Sandy also loved to play euchre.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Beulah, her husband James (Jim) Baker, and her daughter Terry Louise Baker.

Surviving Sandy is her step-father Floyd, her brother Ronald Van Dorn, her daughters Patricia (Bryan) Graham and Charlotte (Robert) Perrine, her grandchildren and great grandchildren Misty McQueen, MacKenzie, Alexis, and Mason, Nathan (Laura) Graham, Jackson and Rachel, James (Deanna) McQueen, Jaden, Kaya, Auni, and Destiny, Roger (Kassina) McQueen, Aaron, Roger and Russell, and Nicole (Jeremy) Essad.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 16 at 11 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery, Bellaire.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 18, at Noon at the Area Senior Center.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to help with the expenses associated with Sandy’s passing.
