Samuel Lewis

Samuel Jay Lewis, 61, of East Jordan, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 with his family at his side.  He was born on June 22, 1962, in Petoskey, MI, the son of Peter and Joan (Hannon) Lewis.

Sam worked as a logger and cut firewood for many years.  He also worked for a lawncare business in Central Lake.  He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with family and friends.

Sam is survived by his mother, three children, several grandchildren, four brothers, three sisters, many nieces and nephews, and his ex-wife.

He was preceded in death by his father.

The family is planning a celebration of Sam’s life on Labor Day.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Munson Hospice or Antrim County Commission on Aging.
