Samuel Hardy

Samuel Fred Hardy 5-20-1953 to 7-5-2021 ... My beloved Sammy passed away peacefully. He was born in Phoenix where he enjoyed his young years, then moved to Colorado Springs where attended and played football for Cheyenne Mountain HS. Sam studied geology in college which led to many rockhounding expeditions. Sam worked for himself landscaping, firewood, farm managing and even a fly-fishing guide. He loved golfing, fishing, camping, Charlevoix, and me. He was a great stepdad and loving grandpa. Sam was my rock and will be missed by the many hearts he touched; most of all, mine. I take comfort he is with his Mom and Dad now. Rest well my love...your wife Kym.

Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at the Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
