Sally Dian Wynkoop, 76, of Charlevoix, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey. She was born July 17, 1938, in Port Huron, the daughter of Weston and Virginia (Munro) Jury. She grew up in Port Huron, graduated from Port Huron High School then graduated from Saint Clair County Community College. On April 7, 1955, she married Richard J. Wynkoop in Port Huron. They made their home there before moving to Charlevoix in 1985. Sally worked at the Charlevoix County State Bank, and owned Family Affair Arts and Crafts in Charlevoix. She is survived by her husband, Richard of Charlevoix; their children, Ricky L. Wynkoop of Charlevoix, Vicki Lynn (Ronnie) McWatters of Charlevoix, Jeffrey Scott (Cheryll) Wynkoop of Kewadin, Andrew John Wynkoop of Charlevoix; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Barbara Scully of Charlevoix. Sally was preceded in death by her son Wayne, son-in-law Terry Moses of Charlevoix, and brother Ronald Jury of Port Huron. Sally's life was her family who she dearly loved. She never missed a Detroit Tigers game. A private burial service will take place in the spring at the Norwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 812 Ontario Street, East Jordan, MI 49727.
