SALLY J. SKINKLE, 77, of Bellaire and Florida, passed away on October 20, 2012 at her home. Sally was born on March 21, 1935 in Southfield, MI., the daughter of Edward and Cecilia (Horvath) McMahon. Sally was a resident of Bellaire and Florida for many years. Proir to retirement, she owned and operated Dels Landscaping/Irrigation along with her husband Del. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, visiting with people and watching soap operas. She also volunteered at the Antrim County Commission on aging. On August 13, 1953, in Monroe, MI., she married Delmar Skinkle who survives. Also surviving are 4 daughters, Darlene Gustinis of Highland, MI., Deborah (Dan) Herron of Holly, MI., Diana (Greg) Brabant of Lake Orion, MI., Delores (Jeff) Weaver of Florida, 2 sisters, Betty Farrow of Indiana, Judy Zimmer of Florida, 2 brothers, Ken (Mary) Kreuger of Florida, Carl Kreuger of Texas, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grand children, many nieces and nephews and several close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Richard and Michael McMahon. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Interment will follow in Dunsmore Cemetery, Echo Township. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Antrim County Commission on Aging, P.O. Box 614, Bellaire, MI., 49615.
