Sally A. Moore

Sally A. Moore,  78, of Kalkaska, passed away on April 6, 2025 at the Eden Center.

   Sally was born on January 28, 1947, in Lewiston, MI the daughter of Robert and Florence (Cheney) Skaggs.

   She was a lifelong resident of the Antrim and Kalkaska area and enjoyed cooking, crocheting, bingo, puzzles as well as trips to the casino.

   She worked for the Mancelona Public School Head Start program for several years then became the cook for the high school.

   Surviving are 6 children, Dennis Jr. (Debra) Hittle of Alden, Florence (Tyrone) Phillips of Rapid City, Melissa Klintworth of Fayetteville, NC, Eli (Nicole) Hittle of Kalkaska, Duane Hittle of Mancelona, Harold (Donna) Hittle of Bellaire, sister Lyla Mott, brothers, Eldon and Rick Skaggs, 26 grandchildren, 47 great-great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

   Preceding her in death were her 3 husbands, Dennis Hittle Sr., Phillip Thrasher, David Moore, 4 grandchildren, Leonard, Dayton, Allen and Duane Jr. Hittle, 2 great-grandchildren, Weston and Soyier Hittle, 3 sisters Hazel Moon, Ann Harcourt, Coral Frisby, brother Elmer Skaggs and her parents.

   No services are planned at this time.   A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

   Arrangements are in the care of the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
