Ruth Kling

RUTH M. KLING 86, of Bellaire, formerly of Fairview and Mio, died on Monday, December 17, 2007 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility. Ruth was born on April 25, 1921 in Detroit, the daughter of Amandus and Johanna (Lienau) Wurm. Ruth had resided in Bellaire since 2004 and was a member of the Bellaire Community United Methodist Church. She was employed with the National Forest Service for 22 years before her retirement. On April 24, 1940 in Detroit, she married Fred Kling who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were 4 brothers, Gustav, Arthur, Harold, an infant brother, 2 sisters, Eleonora Waiton, Gertrude Anger and her parents. Surviving are 3 children, Janice (Douglas) Merrick of Bellaire, Fred (Carol) Kling of Bellaire, Alfred (Karen) Kling of Casa Grande, AZ., 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Memorial services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007 at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Pastor Mary Brown officiated.
