Ruby Pinion

Ruby A. Pinion, 56, of Mancelona, passed away on May 17, 2015 at Munson Medical Center, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Ruby was born on May 20, 1958, in Charlevoix, the daughter of Wesley and Ernestine (Warner) Huntley. Ruby attended the Pleasant Valley Free Methodist Church for many years. She enjoyed gardening, baking, going to yard sales, retail shops, arts and crafts, hosting family barbeques, and had a special love for playing with her grandchildren and making them laugh. She is survived by a daughter Crystal (Robert II) Williams of Mancelona, her lifetime partner Theotis Patterson of Mancelona, 3 brothers, William (Rita) Huntley of St. Johns, MI, Wesley (Nancy) Huntley of Lewisburg, TN, Floyd Huntley of Ovid, MI, 3 sisters, Elma Huntley of Ovid, MI, Lisa Huntley of Mancelona, Sherry (Pat) North of St. Johns, MI, 4 granchildren, Coye (Nicki) Williams, Sapphire Williams, Jasmine Williams, Steffenie Williams, 5 great-grandchildren, Kylie, Blake, Serina, Hayden, Dean, Alec, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services will take place on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Free Methodist Church. Rev. Dave Scott will officiate.
