Ruby Patterson

RUBY Q. PATTERSON, 91, of Central Lake, died on January 15, 2011 at Boulder Park Terrace in Charlevoix. Ruby was born on March 16, 1919 in Central Lake, the daughter of Henry and Ila (Mockerman) Williams. Ruby was raised in Central Lake and was employed by Texas Instruments for many years. She enjoyed reading, gardening and walking. On January 11, 1952 in Central Lake, she married Jack Patterson who preceded her in death in 1990. Also preceding her in death were her parents. She is survived by a son Allan (Sandy) Patterson of San Diego, CA. and her grandchildren Michael and Shelly Patterson also of San Diego. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, January 20 at 11:00 a.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Pastor Janie Beasley will officiate. Interment will take place in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of donor's choice.
