Ross Alward

Ross William Alward, age 44, of Charlevoix, passed away November 6, 2022.

Ross was a 1996 Ellsworth high school graduate, and longtime area resident. He was a very talented painter and had a deer processing business.  Ross enjoyed hunting and fishing along with working on his house doing construction.  He had a heart of gold and would give anyone anything that he could.  Ross had a great sense of humor and was always smiling.   He was caring and always interested in how others were doing. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and other extended family.

Ross is survived by his mother, Pat Bull of Boyne City, MI, father, Ray (Ruth) Alward of East Jordan, MI; siblings, Alex Alward of Ellsworth, MI, Alanna (Jason) Alward of Charlevoix, MI, and Kara Alward of Boyne City, MI; niece, Xzandria, nephews, Landen and Owen, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

A private service was held.

Arrangements have been handled by the Ellsworth Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
