Ronald Conway

Ronald Russell Conway, aged 68, of Mancelona, died November 15, 2012 at home. He was born March 17, 1944 to the late John L. and Margaret E. (Boroff) Conway. He married Diane DePeel, also of Mancelona, on December 16, 1971. Ron loved his vegetable garden, evenings spent at the restaurant with friends, and annual trips to Wakami Lake in northern Ontario. The joy and laughter he brought to the people around him will be greatly missed. Ron treasured his family and loved to spend time with them. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Betty Guyett and Beatrice Lockery and brother Jim Conway. Funeral services will be Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Pastor Mark McCool officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2p.m. to 5 p.m. also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Conway Family through Mortensen Funeral Homes, PO Box 307, Mancelona MI 49659.
