Ronald Cantrell

RONALD J. CANTRELL 72, of Mancelona, died on October 16, 2007 at Munson Medical Center. Ronald was born on September 26, 1935 in Mancelona, the son of Alva and Electa (Anderson) Cantrell. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed NASCAR racing and watching the Little League World Series. He lived in Ypsilanti for 30 years prior to moving back to Mancelona upon his retirement. He is survived by 5 brothers, Junior (Ila) Cantrell of Mancelona, William (Debbie) Cantrell of Gaylord, Richard (Anna May) Cantrell of Mancelona, Gary (Mary) Cantrell of Mancelona, Wayne (Jan) Cantrell of Kalkaska, two sisters, Violet May (Walter) Knoch of Gaylord, Phyllis (Chris) Fries of Mancelona and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 20 at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Yousef "Yogi" Jabara officiated.
