Roger Wheeler

Roger L. Wheeler, 73, of Alden, passed away April 11, 2012 at the Grand Rapids Home For Veterans. He was born in 1938 in Grand Rapids, the son of Donald and Seraphine (Saccucci) Wheeler. He is survived by his daughters, Renae (Tim) Sheatzley of Kingsley, MI and Elaine (Pete) Kubsch of Rossville, IN; his stepchildren Marsha Cole of Kingsley, MI and Michael (Shirley) Cole of Traverse City, MI; a brother, Bruce (Phyllis) Wheeler of Paradise Valley, AZ; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, and his son, Randy. Roger was a sign painter/business owner (RW Signs) in Mancelona for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed playing pool and being outdoors. Private family services will be held at a later date.
