Roger James

Roger F. James, 74, of Bellaire, died, Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Bortz Health Care in Traverse City. He was born April 8, 1934 in Grayling, the son of Frank L. and Rose May (Pratt) James. Roger lived in Antrim County most of his life and enjoyed carpentry, hunting and the great outdoors. On May 22, 1957, in Grand Rapids, he married Rose Marie James who preceded him in death. Also preceding him were his parents and 5 brothers and sisters. Surviving Roger are 2 children Rose James of Alden and Rita (Robert) Frarey of Grand Ledge, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 6 brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Grass River Natural Area.
