Robert "Bob" Stoianoff

Robert  “Bob” Peter Stoianoff 94, of Central Lake, passed away on September 1, 2020 at his home, surrounded by family. Robert was born on August 4, 1926 in Stockbridge, MI. Son of Peter and Louise (Miller) Stoianoff.

Bob grew up in Stockbridge then Salem.  He Graduated from Northville High School in 1944.  After graduation, Bob proudly served in the Army during WWII.  He worked as a body shop manager until his move to Central Lake in 1978 where he then opened his own body shop.  Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and hunting and fishing “buddy”.

He is survived by daughter, Susan (Martin) Niswonger, Debby (partner Carrie) Stoianoff, Denise (Kerry) Hendricks, Lisa (John) Harden, grandchildren Steven, Lauren, Wesley, Hannah, Travis, Tricia, great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Casey, Chase, Adalyn, Lily and Mary. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marjorie, beloved daughter Brenda, grandson Richard, sisters Chris and Jean and parents.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will take place on Saturday, September 19 at 11:00 am at Southern Cemetery in Central Lake Township. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help support a Veteran’s organization.
