Robert “Bob” D. Howard, 61 of Mancelona passed away on June 17, 2018 at his home.
Bob was born on August 10, 1956 in Flint to the late William and Phyllis (Bannon) Howard.
He served in the United States Army for 2 years where he earned his GED. Following the Army he worked as a truck driver, handyman and mechanic. Bob was an active member of the Antrim Church of Christ. He enjoyed spending his time talking on the CB Radio, working on cars and small engines and assembling model trucks.
On August 18, 2012 at the Antrim Church of Christ he married Carolyn S. Davis who survives. He is also survived by his children, Colson (Regina) Howard, Kayla Howard, Kelcie Howard; 1 grandson, Brayden Howard and 1 grandson on the way; 5 sisters, Paula Kukla of California, Terri (John) Hall of Rapid City, Roxie Marshall of Rapid City, Billie Robinson of Mancelona, Lisa (Don) Grannis of Central Lake; 1 brother, Mark Howard along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Glyneta Fuller and nephew, Jaymes Marshall.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at The Antrim Church of Christ with Pastor Mark McCool officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services also at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to his family.
