Robert Young

Robert C. Young, 63, of Mancelona, passed away on Sept. 7, 2014 at Munson Medical Center. Bob was born on July 12, 1951, in Detroit, the son of James and Mary (Zuber) Young. Bob was a long time resident of Mancelona, where he was employed by Dura Automotive and enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his wife Phyllis (Straight) Young, 3 children, Rodger Ray of MO, Kevin (Terri) Ray of Mancelona, Scott (Tina) Ray of Mancelona, 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, siblings, Judy Lebow of Richmond, MI, Bill and Janet Currey of Richmond, MI, Tom Young of Redford, MI, Mike and Becky Vandervosslie of Port Huron, MI, Tim Young of Mancelona, Peggy Young of Kalkaska, Benny Young of Mancelona as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death in death by a son Robert Young Jr., a brother Jim Young and his parents. No services are planned at this time. Interment will be at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona. Memoorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
