Robert White

Robert A. White,  60, of Alba, passed away on December 22, 2021 at Grayling Mercy Hospital.

He was born on April 24, 1961, in Detroit, the son of Ronald and Carol (Like) White.

Bob was employed as a mechanic for many years for multiple county governments and most recently Antrim County.   He was also a volunteer fireman for multiple departments through the years and the past 20 with the Star Township.

He loved tractors, gardening, any type of fire trucks, loved playing santa and was known as that man that was a "helper to everyone".

Surviving are his wife Dawn (Hogue) White of Alba, 2 children, Christine (Chris) Clark, Andrea (Nate) Gray both of Brownstown, MI, 2 granddaughters, Arianna Gray, Kathryn Hogue, a step-son, Adam (Karen) Hogue of Gaylord, his parents, Ron White and Carol DeHart, step-father Dave Dehart, brother Phil (Carolyn) White, and  2 sisters, Dawn and Kathy.

No services are planned at this time.   The family will have a service at a later date in the downstate area.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Antrim County Animal Shelter, 4660 M-88, Bellaire, MI,  49615.

Arrangements are being handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
