Robert Vedder

Robert A. Vedder, 74, of Mancelona, passed away on March 26, 2015 at his home. Robert was born on June 15, 1940, in Ann Arbor, the son of Leon and Dorothy (Wilson) Vedder. Robert is survived by 3 daughters, Brenda (Curt) Harwood of Petoskey, Kristin (Jim) Vedder-Clark of Stockbridge, MI, Diane Vedder of Mancelona, his mother Dorothy Vedder of Mason, MI, 8 grandchildren, Nolan, Conner, Forrest, Shuyler, Ashley, Amber, Christina and Luis. Preceding him in death were his wife Karen in 2011, his son Kenneth Vedder in 1998, his father Leon Vedder as well as a sister Marilyn Weismore. Memorial services will take place on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Mancelona. Pastor Ken Bernthal will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are being handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
