Robert Rohde

Robert D. Rohde, 73, of Mancelona, passed away July 21, 2013 at his home surrounded by family. He was born October 27, 1939 in Mancelona, the son of Carl and Sylvia (Kiel) Rohde. On September 17, 1966 he married Sharon Mollema who survives. Also surviving are three children, Dawn Rohde and CJ McHugh of Flint, Dewain (Cheryl) Rohde and Dianne Rohde all of Mancelona; four grandchildren, Jessie, Katie, Daryl and Mitch; five great-grandchildren, sister, Dorothy Allen of Kalkaska and several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Buck and Wink Rohde. A memorial service will be Friday, July 26, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Mancelona with Pastor Ross Corne officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rohde family through Mortensen Funeral Homes, PO Box 307, Mancelona MI 49659.
