Robert Ouderkirk

Robert L. Ouderkirk Sr., 95, of Charlevoix, passed away Saturday, September 4th at Boulder Park Terrace.

Robert was born on November 27, 1925, in Elkhart, Indiana, the son of Howard and Nina (Drost) Ouderkirk.

He worked Kroger Grocery for 42 years, starting in Charlevoix and finishing his career at the Petoskey location. He attended church at the Charlevoix Assembly of God for 50 years. Robert was a hard working man who lived for his grand kids. He enjoyed landscaping and outdoor beauty, along with being on the boat and hunting.

Robert married the love of his life, Lucille in May of 1957 in Petoskey, MI. Robert and Lucille had 5 loving children, Cindy Figard of Grand Rapids, Robert jr (Diane) Ouderkirk of Charlevoix, Ramona Hinojos of North Carolina, Brenda Withey of North Carolina, and Mark Ouderkirk of New Mexico. In total they had 9 grandkids, 13 great grandkids, and 1 great great grandkid.

Proceeding Robert in death is his wife Lucille, his sister Doris, and his sister Donna.
